About
Dor Bergel
Backend Developer in Cybersecurity · Israel
I’m a backend developer at FAZE Security with a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a professional background in QA automation.
My path into development gave me a perspective I value: before I was responsible for building backend systems, I spent years investigating how software fails, designing automation infrastructure and improving confidence in complex products. That experience still shapes the way I write code and make architectural decisions.
I’m especially interested in backend architecture, cybersecurity, networking and systems programming. I enjoy going below the surface of a technology to understand why it behaves the way it does—not only how to use it.
Outside of work, I build projects that let me explore these areas in practice, from UNIX process management and network tooling to threat-intelligence pipelines and real-time applications. I also document parts of my learning through technical write-ups.
I care about dependable code, clear thinking, continuous improvement and working with people who challenge and support one another.
